Understanding mental health is the first step toward creating a workplace where employees feel valued and supported. Our Mental Health Awareness Training provides a foundational understanding of mental health, common conditions, and effective ways to support colleagues.
Through engaging discussions, real-world examples, and expert-led sessions, participants will learn how to identify early warning signs, challenge stigma, and promote a culture of openness and wellbeing. This half-day course is designed for all employees, equipping them with practical knowledge they can apply both at work and in daily life.
Course Strcutre
This half-day training course is delivered online or in-person, using a mix of interactive learning, group discussions, and practical exercises. Participants will explore key topics, including mental health basics, stress management, stigma reduction, and how to have supportive conversations.
The training is accessible, engaging, and designed for all levels of experience, ensuring that every participant leaves with actionable strategies to support their colleagues and themselves.
Course Outcome
By completing this course, participants will develop a better understanding of mental health, how to approach sensitive conversations, and ways to support themselves and others. They will learn how stress, anxiety, and other common mental health challenges affect individuals and how small changes can make a big difference.

Yes, all our courses are fully accredited by the Royal Society of Public Health. Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), Mental Health Awareness and Mental Health Skills for Managers are created by MHFA England, and are based on research and developed by mental health experts alongside people with lived experience of mental ill health. Our Suicide Prevention courses are created by The National Centre for Suicide Prevention Education and Training – the UK’s leading international provider of assured suicide prevention education.
We have training options to suit a range of timescales and budgets. The Mental Health Awareness, Mental Health Skills for Managers, Suicide First Aid Lite and Suicide First Aid for Heavy Industries are half-day courses. The Suicide First Aid and Suicide First Aid for Heavy Industries are one-day courses. The Mental Health First Aider course is two-days.
Yes! We offer whole group training sessions for businesses, or you can book for one or several colleagues to join participants from other organisations. We also limit group sizes to a maximum of 16 people to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
